Finance Manager (Part-time)

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Finance Manager will provide accounting leadership within the office and is responsible for the accurate and timely maintenance of the Federation’s accounting records; the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures; financial management of government agreements; and compliance with all government regulations and remittances.  The Finance Manager will also provide the Finance Committee, Executive Committee and Board of Directors with key financial information and updates.

Applicants should hold a Degree or Diploma in accounting, or equivalent work experience.  Candidates should have superior accuracy and attention to details, excellent interpersonal and communications skills.  Candidates should also demonstrate the ability to analyze, synthesize and integrate information into practice and long-term planning.

Experience in the non-profit sector and the agriculture sector would be an asset.  A recognized professional accounting designation would be an asset.

Proficiency in both official languages would be an asset.
