Attend a national policy meeting with Canada’s ag industry and government leaders

Each summer, CFA invites its directors and member representatives to gather for our July board meeting, a mid-year opportunity to consider policy priorities and plan advocacy efforts for the coming months. The event also includes our annual Federal-Provincial-Territorial (FPT) Ministers Roundtable — a one-of-a-kind engagement for CFA board members, industry observers, and Canada’s federal, provincial and territorial agriculture ministers.

At this unique industry-government roundtable, participants will share views on the goals and process for developing a national economic strategy for the agriculture and agri-food sector, and how to incorporate recommendations from the Advisory Council on Economic Growth (the Barton report). The discussion will also explore how the strategy connects with other pertinent topics such as international trade and business risk management.

The event is by invitation only. An agenda will be available in the coming weeks.

To register: For CFA members and Corporate Leaders, online registration is available here
