CFA Summer Board Meeting and FPT Roundtable 2025
For CFA’s upcoming Summer Meeting and FPT Roundtable, July 15-16 in Winnipeg, MB, please note the following meeting information and recommendations to assist you in your respective planning/scheduling. The CFA will be working closely with our host province to finalize further details.
CFA’s Summer board meeting will take place on Tuesday, July 15th. CFA will also be hosting a half-day Policy Summit starting in the morning of July 16th. The FPT Roundtable will be held on the afternoon of July 16th. Below, you can find a high-level schedule to assist you with your travel bookings/schedule.
Government-Hosted Evening Reception on July 16th (Fort Garry): The CFA will be managing our stakeholder invitations and correspondence with the Government. More details will follow.

- Monday, July 14th – Keystone Agricultural Producers Welcome Event (Start time, location TBD) (Members and Gold Sponsors only)
- Tuesday, July 15th – (All day) – CFA Board of Directors meeting (Members, Corporate Leaders and Sponsors only) (Delta Hotel Winnipeg)
- Tuesday, July 15th – (6:00 -8:00 p.m.) – Spirits Canada Reception (Location TBD) (All attendees welcome)
- Wednesday, July 16th – (8:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.) – CFA Policy Summit (Open Meeting) (Delta Hotel Winnipeg) (Click here to view a synopsis of the panels)
- Wednesday, July 16th – (2:15-4:00 p.m.) Dean’s Council hosted session “AgRise Research Session“ (Delta Hotel Winnipeg)
- Wednesday, July 16th – (4:30 – 6:30 p.m.) – CFA presents to FPT Ministers at Roundtable (Delta Hotel Winnipeg, no virtual attendance)
- Wednesday, July 16th (7:00 p.m.) – Government-Hosted Reception (Fort Garry)

Online Registration for Summer Meeting, Policy Summit, FPT Roundtable and FPT Reception: The online registration will be $540 for CFA members and $640 for non-members. *Capacity at the FPT Reception is limited to one person per organization due to room capacity. Where possible, CFA will contact organizations to indicate where additional spots are available.
Online Registration for Policy Summit, FPT Roundtable and FPT Reception: Registration for the Policy Summit and FPT Roundtable is free. Registration for the FPT Reception is $120. *Capacity at the FPT Reception is limited to one person per organization due to room capacity. Where possible, CFA will contact organizations to indicate where additional spots are available.
The deadline for registration is June 20th.
