Stéphanie Levasseur is the owner of Au cœur de la pomme, an ecological orchard her family has run since 1982, and which she took over in 2000. In addition to the orchard, the business includes an artisanal vinegar factory, producing authentic cider vinegars, chutneys, jams, mustards and jellies.
Before becoming second vice-president of the Union des producteurs agricoles, Stéphanie Levasseur was involved in several agricultural organizations, including the Syndicat des producteurs de pommes de la région de Missisquoi et de l’Estrie, of which she was president for several years, before being elected president of the Producteurs de pommes du Québec, in 2014. She has also sat on the Income Security Committee of the Producteurs de pommes du Québec, the General Council of the Union des producteurs agricoles and the Board of Directors of the Canadian Horticultural Council.
Stéphanie became the 2nd Vice-President of the Canadian Federation of Agriculture in 2025.
