MEDIA ADVISORY: Interview opportunity: G120 Farm Leaders meeting in Paris

OTTAWA, June 15 – President of the Canadian Federation of Agriculture, Ron Bonnett will participate in the G120 Farm Leaders meeting on June 16-17 in Paris.

Under the theme, “G120, Worldwide farmers speak up!” more than 120 farm organizations spanning 75 countries will come together to discuss challenges and solutions for price volatility, climate change and sustainable growth in lead up to the G20 Agriculture Ministers Meeting to be held June 22-23. The farm leaders’ meeting will open with an address from France’s President Nicolas Sarkozy. The farm leaders are expected to release a declaration based on their discussions .
